Bridging the gap between schools and businesses, disadvantaged neighborhoods and business districts
The Foundations have also found a way to link this groundbreaking initiative to the corporate world, by setting up a skills sponsorship program with La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild. Paired with a ‘coach’ from the bank, each of the 11 young women will receive individual job interview training, business skills counseling, and be given networking opportunities with the help of their coach.
The young graduates confirm that PasserElles helps them acquire important skills and take a new approach to professional environments, and shows them how to overcome the self-censorship that sometimes hinders job seeking efforts.
The Edmond de Rothschild Foundations are also working with PasserElles program managers within Mozaïk RH to help the program along the road to financial sustainability and to evaluate its impact with the goal of scaling up activities in the future to provide support to as many young women as possible.
